Mark Your Bible - Mark Your Life

Hey friends, welcome to Mark Your Bible!

If you’ve ever felt that reading the Bible is kinda overwhelming (like, where do I even start??), you’re not alone. We get it. Between school, work, friendships, and figuring out life, opening the Bible can sometimes feel like opening a 1,000-page mystery novel. But here’s the thing: the Bible is actually the greatest guidebook we’ve got—and we don’t just want to read it, we want to live it.

That’s why this space exists. Mark Your Bible is more than just underlining verses with a highlighter (though we love that too). It’s about letting God’s Word mark our hearts and mark our lives. Because what’s the point of highlighting John 3:16 in neon pink if it doesn’t shine in how we love, forgive, and live every day?

Here, we’ll :

  1. Share Bible verses (and talk about them in a way that actually makes sense for our everyday life).
  2. Walk through the Bible together until we finish it—yes, cover to cover (don’t worry, we’ll cheer each other on).
  3. Talk honestly about being a Christian youth today—the struggles, the faith, the awkward questions, all of it.
  4. Build a community of Bible buddies—because reading alone is good, but reading together is powerful.

Think of this blog as your friendly corner table at the coffee shop, where we can sit down with open Bibles, open hearts, and maybe an iced latte in hand. We’re not here to preach at you. We’re here to walk with you.

One verse that sums up our heartbeat is :
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." (Psalm 119:105)

Because honestly? Life is confusing. Sometimes messy. Sometimes amazing. But with God’s Word lighting up the way, we don’t have to stumble around in the dark.

So here’s the deal : as you mark your Bible with notes, doodles, or highlights—let it also mark your life. Let every verse you read shape how you love people, make decisions, handle struggles, and celebrate wins.

We’re so glad you’re here.
Welcome to the journey.
Let’s mark our Bibles, and together, let’s mark our lives.

With love & excitement,
Maria Soedira | Creator of Mark Your Bible
